Timber Strong

Team Captain: Taylor Mills

This year the Wolfpack is entering the Timber Strong Design-Build competition for the first time. Our team of students will design, model, and construct a small wooden shed using sustainable timber framing techniques. The structure must be built to competition specifications, showcasing both structural integrity and construction efficiency, as well as aesthetically pleasing and creative. This year we’ll be challenging ourselves to apply classroom concepts to a real-world build, through planning, design, practice, and teamwork. We’ll be putting our skills to the test at NCA&T University this year, as well as gaining invaluable experience competing against other schools from across the region. Go Pack and Go Timber Strong!
